There are currently four types of electronic highway vignettes in Slovakia, which differ in terms of their validity period. Drivers can therefore choose the type of vignette that best suits their plans and travel style:
1-day vignette – valid only on the day you choose. Particularly suitable for one-off or transit journeys through Slovakia.
10-day vignette – valid for 10 consecutive calendar days. Ideal for short stays, vacations, or business trips.
30-day vignette – valid for 30 days from the selected date. Practical for drivers who drive regularly during a certain period.
365-day vignette – valid for exactly 365 days from the start of validity, regardless of the calendar year. The most advantageous option for those who use the motorways throughout the year.
These vignettes are valid not only for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons, but also for trailers if the total weight of the combination exceeds 3.5 tons – in this case, a vignette must also be purchased for the trailer.
The electronic vignette is linked to the vehicle registration number (EČV) and does not need to be physically affixed to the vehicle. Its validity can be verified online at any time.

The state e-shop is the eZnámka.sk portal, and electronic vignettes are issued by the National Motorway Company (NDS) – the body responsible for their administration.
